Who we are
THE MODERN DAY is the data controller for the information collected through this website.
What we collect
- Email address. Only when you choose to join the waitlist.
- Anonymous usage statistics. Aggregated page views. No tracking cookies, no advertising profiles, no selling of data.
Why we use it (legal basis)
We process your email on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), to let you know when THE MODERN DAY launches and to send occasional updates, previews and invitations. Nothing else.
Who processes it
We use Klaviyo to store our list and send emails. Klaviyo may process data on servers outside the EU; such transfers are covered by the appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
- Access, correct, or delete your data.
- Withdraw consent at any time. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Object to or restrict processing, and request data portability.
- Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
